Long Marton Viaduct
LONG MARTON VIADUCT - 8th May 2001
Long Marton Viaduct is also known as Troutbeck Viaduct and was constructed of red sandstone quarried from Dufton Gill two miles away. Built between 1871 and 1874 it has 5 arches, is 60 feet high and 108 yards long.
