HORTON-in-RIBBLESDALE - 11th March 1989 Horton signal box had closed some five years before this photograph was taken with one of the signal posts still in situ half way down the train. The 'box has now gone along with the sidings - contrary to popular opinion the caravan was not for the use of the night-shift signalman!. |
