LANGCLIFFE - 11th May 2002
156491+153304+153351 on the 08.49 Leeds-Carlisle. The train has just left Settle, about a half a mile back, and is passing the village of Langcliffe. The chimney in the distance dates from the industrial age and is now a preserved relic adjacent to which is a modern day visitor centre called Watershed Mill. The 156 is about to pass under my favourite footbridge - we all have a favourite footbridge don't we? Well, this is mine!
