AIS GILL SUMMIT - 7th March 2005 It's early March and the landscape still has that wintery feel but not for much longer, the new-born lambs will soon be here and the most eagerly awaited of the four seasons - spring, is just around the corner. Freightliner 66528 breasts the summit at Ais Gill, the climbing is over, in days of old the fireman could now rest and enjoy the scenery - unless it was night time of course! |
